This project was for NIFT, Graphic Design and Communications.
It was a personal project, where the brief was to create a brand and its visual identity in the
categorisation of Home furnishing. The factors that have been kept in mind are;
Perceived brand value, brand affect, brand personality and brand symbolism.


01. LOGO
The logo of "Thy Castle" is a combination of the company name and an icon. The logo is the explanation of the brand's name ( Thy Castle or Your Castle ) and an icon of a furniture brand.
Mind Mapping : Before finalising the logo, there were different stages in the design.
In 1st stage, I explored all the possibilities with the logo, where my motive was to make the logo recognised as a furniture brand at a glance. In later stages, I tried to match my idea with the brand's prestige, by making it more minimal and working only on strokes. I chose a pleasant hue for the logo to radiate the calm, relaxing and comforting vibe.


02. NAME
The name is a crucial part of a brand identity and therefore the name "Thy Castle" evoked the belongingness with the brand amongst the customers. The idea was to represent that brand turns your houses into your castle with high end furniture. It completed the meaning of brand philosophy "To create timeless furniture that fits your high lifestyle".
The typeface of the brand name was a combination of script and sans serif.

03. COLOUR PALETTE
The colour palette was inspired from vintage and luxury items.



04. APPLICATION
I designed the stationery for the brand which included; Invoice, Visiting card and Business greeting card.
I included the layout of the social media page, where I have designed the icons.
